I’ve seen this style of page used by a couple of bloggers, so I thought it would be neat to implement for myself. Direct inspiration from Derek Sivers’ blog.
April 2018 was the last time I updated this page, so it’s time to give it a bit of a refresh. Since my last update, we successfully moved cities and have been in our new home for a year. We also just hit our one year wedding anniversary!
The pace of my reading has slowed down a bit compared to previous years. For a while this year, I made a bit of a switch to listening to podcasts. I found that I had gone through most of the books I had requested from the library and had on Audible, so I took a break and enjoyed some weekly content updates from creators. However, a few books have been released recently that are drawing me back.
Jim and I are still working on the Stay Awesome vlogging series. We are in our second year and still enjoying the process, though truthfully we’ve both discussed wanting to brainstorm for a new project to keep things fresh and interesting. Nothing on the horizon yet, but the urge is there.
While I don’t have any concrete plans or goals in mind, I’m working my way though a Udemy course on learning Python. I keep getting told that everyone should learn coding, so I figured it would be a good place to start. I’m trying to be mindful that without a goal or purpose, this could be yet another thing I abandon when my whims change.
